Little Voices, Many Languages: Raising Multilingual Children - Online Workshop

Many children today grow up speaking multiple languages—in their daily lives, within their families, or through their surroundings. This is a wonderful opportunity! Multilingualism not only strengthens language skills but also enhances critical thinking, self-confidence, and a sense of connection to one’s family and culture.

In this workshop, we’ll discuss how children learn multiple languages simultaneously and how parents can support them effectively—without any pressure. You’ll receive practical tips for everyday life, such as how to strengthen your family language, even if German is the primary language at daycare or school.

We’ll also address common questions:

• Do multiple languages confuse my child?
• Which language should I speak with my child?
• What should I do if my child mixes languages?

The workshop provides a space for discussion, questions, and shared ideas. The goal is to empower parents and show them: Every language in your family is valuable!
